We often experience time as something slipping through our fingers — a countdown of deadlines, milestones, and passing years.

The Byzantine tradition gently offers another way of seeing.

Time is not merely something to be managed. In Christ, it becomes something to be sanctified.

Every day, every season, every feast, every fast, every joy, every sorrow, and every ordinary moment becomes an opportunity to encounter the living God.

Here is a question to carry with you as you read:

Am I living merely in chronos, or am I allowing Christ to transform my time into kairos?
